Independent classes are for drivers who do not have a signed contract with a sponsor. If you have signed a contract for help in your racing program for the 2026 season you must choose one of the other classes offered.

All classes are open tire for the 2026 season.

$65 first class, $55 second class, $55 third class on down

RULES

Independent Classes

The Independent 17.5 2wd Buggy and Independent 13.5 4wd Buggy classes are for non-sponsored drivers only. If you have a signed contract for support with your 2026 racing program then you must choose any of our other classes offered.

Control Tires

The 2026 season will be an open tire for ALL classes. There will be no control tires in any class for the 2025 season.

Racing Under Roar Rules

All classes will follow current ROAR Rules, found HERE.

Motor Eligibility

• All motors listed on the ROAR Approved Motor List published at roarracing.com are permitted for competition.

Season Awards Eligibility

• The requirement to attend the final round to remain eligible for season awards has been removed.

• Competitors who participate in a minimum of three (3) of the five (5) scheduled rounds will be eligible for season awards.

• Competitors not in attendance for the final round will incur a one-position deduction in the final championship standings.

Battery Voltage Regulations

• The maximum allowable battery voltage for competition is 8.40 volts.

• A voltage burn-off will be permitted for batteries measuring 8.41 or 8.42 volts.

• Any battery measuring 8.43 volts or higher at inspection will result in disqualification.

Race Operations

• Event schedules will not be delayed due to a competitor’s failure to meet class or technical requirements.

FORMAT

Main Event Format

5-minute races, IFMAR format, best single finish, tie breaker is time of the used run

Double A-Main's

• 2WD Short Course Truck

• 2WD Stadium Truck

• 40+ 2WD and 4WD Buggy

• Independent 2WD and 4WD Buggy

Triple A-Main's

• Expert Stock

• Pro Modified 2WD and 4WD

A-Main Warm-Up Sessions

• A-Main warm-up sessions will be conducted exclusively for Expert Stock and Pro Modified classes.
